3. Macculloch Hall in Morristown
This Federal style mansion, built between 1819 and 1819 and home to George Macculloch and five generations of his descendants, has more than twenty rooms. Macculloch is best known as the Father of the Morris Canal.

5. Macculloch Hall
Macculloch Hall is the only historic house museum in Morristown made of brick. This is because George Macculloch, who built the house, emigrated from a London neighborhood where wooden structures were considered fire hazards.
