The Cessna 305A (O-1A)
(L-19A) was used extensively
for Forward Air
Controller service in
Southeast Asia.
The “Bird-Dog” was made
available to Civil Air Patrol
from DOD excess sources
and is a proven vehicle in
the performance of the CAP
emergency services mission.
