1. Lutherland Marker
Inscription. In 1926, Lutherans from the NY metro area created a vacation site dedicated to Christian values. This was the entrance to over 1,300 acres on which their dream was realized. A lake, hotels, youth camps, and family cottages were built in a pristine Pocono setting. Thousands visited the vibrant community for decades, until financial challenges led to its closing in 1969.
Erected 2016 by Pinecrest Lake Community Trust.

Location. 41° 6.296′ N, 75° 27.851′ W. Marker is in Pocono Pines, Pennsylvania, in Monroe County.
