Brian was adept at comedy roles as evidenced in his hit T.V. series "Family Affair" but he could also play rugged frontiersmen and evil villains as in "Fort Dobbs" made for Warner Brothers Studios in 1958, and "Ten Who Dared", in 1960, about the true exploration of the nearby Colorado River, for Walt Disney Productions. Both films were shot in Kanab and surrounding areas.

Brian Keith, born Robert Alba Keith, (1921–1997) was an American film, television and stage actor who in his six-decade-long career gained recognition for his work in movies such as the Disney family film The Parent Trap (1961), the comedy The Russians Are Coming, the Russians Are Coming (1966), and the adventure saga The Wind and the Lion (1975). In 1966, Keith landed the role of Uncle Bill Davis on CBS's popular television situation comedy Family Affair. This role earned him three Emmy Award nominations for Best Actor in a Comedy Series. Played the role of a real president of the United States in both of John Milius's films featuring Theodore Roosevelt. In The Wind and the Lion (1975) he co-starred as Roosevelt.
