[cir. 1900 Owensville Parade]
From newspaper articles it is estimated that this Parade most likely occurred in the year "1911".
Location: On South end of Main street near where Catholic church now stands.
Owensville was built in the middle of a Prairie, thus you see the remnants of prairie grasses and forbes.
The Large Red Round building to your far left was the old College, which was torn down around 1920. A 2 year degree after 8th grade. No high school back then. Building stood where Baptist church now stands.
Gray home next to college still stands today. Roof top can be seen from here - 3rd building from 4-way stop on rt
It is unknown who the two officials are on horseback near the end of Parade.
