1. "Corps Of Discovery" Marker
Inscription.  "Corps of Discovery” is a site-specific public-artwork based on the Louis and Clark Expedition. Concepts and images were developed with respect to the rich history of Woodbury County. The components integrated throughout the building and site were designed by publicartist David Buell Dahlquist and fabricated by Dahlquist Clayworks in Des Moines, lowa. The artwork also represents the talents and skills of Clayworks' artisans Marcy Lloyd, Rick Stewart, Brian Frederiksen, Catherine McCabe, John Swan, Larry Bredeson, and Jim Dawson of lowa Metal Fabrication.
