Location. 39° 53.25′ N, 80° 7.55′ W. Marker is near Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, in Greene County. It is in Franklin Township. Memorial can be reached from Garards Fort Road (County Route 2011) south of Rolling Meadows Road (County Route 2026), on the left when traveling south. Marker is located beneath the flagpoles at the west end of Greene County Memorial Park. Use the parking lot beside the tennis courts and take the short walkway to the memorial. Touch for map. In sincere gratitude to the Greene County Legacy Association for this monument and reminding us of the ultimate sacrifice of the 58 heroes who gave their lives to protect the legacy of liberty. May this park remind us that the price of freedom is eternal vigilance.
