Regarding State Bank of Indiana. Contributing property, New Albany Downtown Historic District, NRHP #99001074. From NRHP Nomination Form: This outstanding building is three and a half stories, of local sandstone and brick. It is painted, with a gable roof, decorative pediment in the front gable end, a classical frieze, and a front, two-story porch with fluted, massive, columns. Local sources indicate that the brick addition at the rear of the home to the north is the former privy for the Bank.
