Telling the story of the beginning of the village from the early 1700's through the mid-20th century with exhibits of the social, economic, & political life of the people who lived in the village and neighboring countryside
This building, built in 1934, replaced the earlier general store, post office, and Masonic Temple Lodge structure, built in the 1870's. An early-morning fire quickly destroyed the original, in the absence of a town fire department. The new building housed all the earlier activities plus a community hall for town organizations to use.
