1. El Tapiz Marker
Inscription.  

Built 1906-1912 in the Market Square district, it is one of the few remaining buildings that composed the core of Market Square. This commercial building at one time housed the Park Hotel in its two upper floors, while the first floor was used for retail establishments. The building was later acquired by the City of Brownsville and renovated in 1987.

Construido de 1906-1912 en el distrito de la “Marqueta,” es uno de los pocos edificios que restan de los cuales formaban el centro de la Marqueta. El Hotel Park una vez se localizaba en los dos pisos superiores de edificio comercial mientras que el primer piso albergaba negocios comerciales. Luego fur adquirido por la Ciudad de Brownsville y fue renovado en 1987.
