Excerpt (in translation): Jsef Eberle (September 8, 1901 in Rottenburg am Neckar – September 20, 1986 in Samedan, Graubünden) was a German writer, publisher and philanthropist. Eberle was the founder and longtime publisher of the Stuttgarter Zeitung (a newspaper of both regional and national importance). He published his works in Swabian dialect under the pseudonym "Sebastian Blau", his Latin works under the pseudonym "Iosephus Apellus"....Josef Eberle had been publishing poems and epigrams regularly since 1928. After his professional ban in 1933 (by the Nazis), he was able to publish Swabian poems under the pseudonym "Sebastian Blau".... He chose the alias as a tribute to the founder of Swabian poetry, Sebastian Sailer."(Submitted on October 19, 2022, by Andrew Ruppenstein of Lamorinda, California.)
