Inscription. On this north east corner of Sierra & Plaza Streets stood the first building of the Salvation Army in Reno, Nevada. Established September 19, 1889. Commemorated this day, November 2nd, 1989. Celebrating 100 years of Salvation Army service to Northern Nevada.
