The cellar here was "The Bunker". Planned War Quarters and refuge for selected members of of the home front management and secretariat. Excavation commenced autumn 1944.

the various departments, as those from the "Bunkersen" had the opportunity to connect to the underground telephone cables. Supplies of provisions, such as food, wood stoves, warm clothes and technical equipment, were delivered via the "Shop" in Uranienborgveien 9.
