På gårdens fasade står “Anno 1687"
Vi kjenner ikke de opprinnelige eiere men

Adam Barck kjøpte Tollbodgaten 19 i 1704. Barck var da byfogd i Christiania.

I 1720 ble gården solgt til Micher Nielsen hvoretter Catherine, salig Poul Vogts enke 1730 overtok eiendommen.

Den ble så ervervet av Jacob Larsen 1740 og ved arv ble Johan Frederich Larsen gårdens eier

Fra 1752 besitter Johan Frederich Dietrich Tollbodgaten 19.

I 1774 gikk eiendommen over til korduanbereder Hieronymus Johan Osterhaus (1716-93). (Hans hustru Dorothea Dietrich vai sester av J. F. Dietrich)

Sønnen Nicolai Dietrich Osterhaus (1753-1822), borgermester og justisråd i Christiania arvet gården i 1792.

Kaptein Carl August Eugen Hommel fikk skjøte på eiendommen i 1798.

Ett år senere overtok oberst Frantz Wilhelm Thome (1730-1812) gården. Etter hans død var det enken. generalinne Christine Elisabeth Thome. født Brachmann som regjerte i Tollbodgaten 19.

Dr. Hjorts annen hustru Sarine Pauline født Bølling overtok gården ifølge uskiftebevilling i 1873.

Året etter ble grosserer H.R. Gulbranson eier av Tollbodgaten 19.

Cand. juris. senere godseier Carl August Gulbranson kjøpte eiendommen i 1878.

I 1895 var gjørtler C P. Larsen eier inntil den ble overdratt i 1918 til Den norske Handelsbank, som 10 år senere skjøtet den til Gunda B. Ellingsen.

Wennergren Cappelen A/S overtok i 1954 og skjatet eiendommen til JW Cappelens Forlag A/S i 1958.

Det norske Garantiselskab A/S som nå eier gården, kjøpte den i 1982. og flyttet inn i 1984

Siden 1994 eiet av familien Krohg Stabell

Adam Barck bought Tollbodgaten 19 in 1704. Barck was then the town bailiff in Christiania.

In 1720, the building was sold to Micher Nielsen, after which Catherine, blessed Poul Vogt's widow, took over the property in 1730.

It was then acquired by Jacob Larsen in 1740 and by inheritance Johan Frederich Larsen became the building's owner.

From 1752 Johan Frederich Dietrich owned Tollbodgaten 19.

The marker is visible here just to the left of the red doors.
1774 the property passed to corduroy maker Hieronymus Johan Osterhaus (1716-93). (His wife Dorothea Dietrich was the sister of J. F. Dietrich)

His son Nicolai Dietrich Osterhaus (1753-1822), mayor and councilor of justice in Christiania, inherited the farm in 1792.

Captain Carl August Eugen Hommel received a deed to the property in 1798.

One year later, Colonel Frantz Wilhelm Thome (1730-1812) took over the property. After his death, it was his widow, Generaline Christine Elisabeth Thome née Brachmann, who ruled in Tollbodgaten 19.

Military doctor Jens Johan Hjort registered his deed in 1827.

Dr. Hjort's second wife, Sarine Pauline née Bølling, took over the building according to a grant of inheritance in 1873.

The following year, wholesaler H.R. Gulbranson owner of Tollbodgaten 19.

Law student later landowner Carl August Gulbranson bought the property in 1878.

In 1895, brass worker C P. Larsen was the owner until it was transferred in 1918 to Den norske Handelsbank (“Norwegian Trade Bank”), which 10 years later deeded it to Gunda B. Ellingsen.

Wennergren Cappelen A/S took over in 1954 and leased the property to JW Cappelens Forlag A/S in 1958.

Det norske Garantiselskab A/S, which now owned the property, bought it in 1982 and moved in in 1984
