Inscription. The Freedom Park Memorial Tower was dedicated in September 11, 2015 in honor of the women and men that served our country in the five branches of our armed services, and those who died September 11, 2001

The Freedom Park Memorial Tower is easily spotted from Westheimer Parkway, in front of several baseball fields. Freedom Park is in Fort Bend County but abuts George H.W. Bush Park, a 7,800-acre Harris County park to the north and east that is entirely within the Barker Reservoir. Touch for map. Barker Reservoir) Rotary International and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. The pathway to the marker from the south includes five monoliths on each side, both sets of monoliths dedicated to the five branches. A dedication stone for the park is to the east side of the monument.

Insignias for the Army Corps of Engineers and Fort Bend County are on the obelisk, and the Coast Guard and Navy are two of the five sides of the memorial's base.
