Inscription. This man had lived and died after serving his country well. He contributed in a big way, in the laying of the foundation of our country's independence, he was a brain in the framing of our constitution extending social justice to all, he moulded an economic structure for the succeeding generation to lean on.

May this monument stand as a shining symbol of his patriotism and statesmanship for the future to emulate so that it can be said that he had not lived and died in vain.
