Harrison Township in Corydon in Harrison County, Indiana — The American Midwest (Great Lakes)
Bulleit-Hurst Building
Various businesses, including a variety store, liquor store and restaurant, were located here until 1954 when the Ideal Restaurant was established by Chet and Ida Miller. John and Anoi Pearl took over in 1958 and renamed it the Ideal Cafeteria. The Ideal became one of Corydon's most popular restaurants and attracted many customers from outside the county. George and Linda Fogel bought the cafeteria in 1985. In December of 1991, Susan Blank and Donna Doezema purchased the business and changed the name to Granny's Ideal Cafeteria to reflect their Granny's Restaurant located on North Capitol Avenue. Afterwards, Stan's Sewing Center, featuring Singer sewing machines and fabrics, occupied the first floor. Warren Printing was established here in 2009.
