Kiperviktorget
I sin nåværende form: 1995
Ansvarlig arkitekt: Sandbakk & Pettersen

Established for the first time: 1880

Owner: Ålesund municipality
The town has previously had several squares and also a Town Hall. Of these, Kiperviktorget has retained a special position as a traditional meeting place and trading place, and is for most Ålesunders Square with a capital T. Originally, Kiperviktorget bordered the sea with sea steps. Later fillings and road construction have cut off that connection.
Erected by Lions Club.
