1. Early Commercial Building Marker
Inscription. Constructed of wood about 1880 by Joseph E. Bishop, son-in-law of A.H. and Sarah Jane Dobkins, founders of Dublin. Veneered 1895 with native stone, and remodeled 1943, 1965. Colorful, important occupants have included banks, medical clinics, a drugstore, newspaper plant, saloons, a dress shop.

Building donated 1971 to Dublin Historical Society by Grace Prim Lyon, in memory of her husband, G.A. (Ted) Lyon (1894-1944)
 
Erected 1972 by State Historical Survey. (Marker Number 1341.)
