1. Clarence H. "Pants" Rowland Marker
Inscription.  Manager of the Chicago White Sox, 1915-1918. Led them to the American League Pennant and the World Series Championship in 1917. President of the Milwaukee Brewers, 1919-1920 and the Pacific Coast League, 1944-1954. Born, February 12, 1878, at Platteville, Wisconsin. Elected 1964.
 
Erected 1964 by Presented to the Hall of Fame by Western Publishing Company, Inc. Racine, Wisconsin.
