Eagle Park

The Eagle Park resort
was a popular summer
tourist destination
located near this site.
On June 23rd 1912, about
300 people were waiting
on the resort pier
for the last ferry
of the day to take them
back to Buffalo.

Tragically, the pier
collapsed and 37 people,
mostly women and
children lost their
lives.

Erected 2012.
