Regarding Educational Institutions. The Wynnton Male Academy building is now part of the Wynnton Arts Academy.

Seven years after the old Industrial High School celebrated its 100th anniversary and one year after the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation named it to a list of 10 “Places in Peril,” the Muscogee County School District declared it surplus and ready to sell. From 1991 to 2013, it housed the districts's Academic Success Center. The building is currently being turned into senior citizen apartments.
