More about this memorial. Although this small park is dedicated to the memory of Dr. Ben Richard Bronstein, Lieutenant in the Naval Medical Corps, New Hampshire's first Naval Officer to die in WWII, the monument to Spanish-American veterans is the largest monument here.
The memorial is a life-size stature of a soldier standing with rifle in hand, mounted on a granite plinth with the two plaques attached.
