Inscription. Constructed in 1875. Moved here from original site and restored to depict first structure relating to railroad transportation linking Marin and northern counties.

Erected 1989 by Novato Historical Society, Novato Grove of Druids No. 113, Grand Parlor Native Sons of the Golden West.
