Baton Rouge in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana — The American South (West South Central)
A devastating blocker and tackler for the White Team, he played three sports in high school and brought his athletic talents to the Tigers. An All-SEC choice as a junior, he earned All-America honors as a senior in 1965. He helped lead the Tigers to three bowl appearances during his career, and then went on to play four seasons for the Houston Oilers of the AFL.
