Maestro normalista, con estudios en la Facultad de Economía de la UNAM. Pertenceció a la segunda generación de trotskistas en México y fue dirigente de la liga Comunista Internacionalista.
Gestionó en 1936 ante el gobierno del General Lázaro Cárdenas la solicitud de asilo para León Trotsky y perteneció, junto con su padre y hermanos, al grupo de guardias que cuidaron la vida del líder revolucionario hasta sus últimos días.

A teacher of teachers, he studied at the Faculty of Economics of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He belonged to the second generation of Trotskyists in Mexico and was a leader of the Internationalist Communist League.
In 1936 he delivered the asylum request for Leon Trotsky to the government of President General Lázaro Cárdenas. Together with his father and brothers, he was part of the group of guards who took care of the revolutionary leader until his last days.
