An electrifying player with game-changing ability, he was a Heisman Trophy finalist and won the Bednarik Award as the nation's top defender. He led the Tigers with 76 tackles, six forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries and two interceptions while returning punts for touchdowns in wins over Arkansas and Georgia.
