Inscription. Aus Anlass des 50. Jahrestages der Befreiung vom Nationalsozialismus gedenkt die Stadt Heusenstamm ihrer Mitbürger, die unter der nationalsozialistischen Gewaltherrschaft aus rassischen, religiösen oder politischen Gründen verfolgt und ermordet wurden, der in unserem Ort eingesetzten Zwangsarbeiter und Kriegsgefangenen und der Menschen, die Widerstand leisten, ihr Leid verpflichtet uns zum Einsatz für den demokratischen Rechtsstaat.


[English translation:]
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of liberation from the Nazis, the City of Heusenstamm commemorates those fellow citizens who under Nazi tyranny were persecuted and murdered on racial, religious or political grounds, as well as those in our midst who endured forced labor or were prisoners of war - their suffering compels us to strive for the democratic rule of law.
