The Berkley Memorial
• This monument was erected in 1883 in honour of Thomas Berkley, a former president of the General Legislative Council in St. Kitts in the 1880s. • Located in the heart of the circus, the four clock faces are a replica of the Big Ben clock located in London, England.
Location. 17° 17.72′ N, 62° 43.422′ W. Marker is in Basseterre, Saint Kitts, in Saint George Basseterre Parish. Marker is at the intersection Touch for map. Marker is on the edge of the circus (circle or roundabout) on the northeast side. The monument itself is at the center of the circus.
