Griggs and Tryon Bldg. . This skinny little building (only 17' wide) was built by Frank Griggs and J. Tryon as a confectionary and cigar store. When the Rivoli Theatre opened up next door they changed the name of their little shop t the the "Rivoli Cigar Store and Fountain." The Rivoli Cigar Store advertised the sale of Elk Horn brand Mineral Water, Lime Rickey and Ginger Ale, which were all bottled at the Roesch Brewery in Pendleton during Prohibition. After the demise of the Rivoli Theatre next door, the building became a bar, and the glass front by was walled over. The last bar finally closed in the 1980's. In 2003, the façade was restored to resemble the original.
