in the United States

Erected to commemorate the centenary of the
First Commissariat in New York City in 1880

Fr. Charles served as 1st commissary of
the Holy Land in the USA, as 2nd Custos of
the Province of the Immaculate Conception
and as the 5th president of
St. Bonaventure University

Presented by the Franciscans of the Holy Land
and of the Provinces of the Immaculate Conception
and the Holy Name of Jesus
