In memory of our fallen comrades of the
96th Infantry Division, U.S. Army
Killed on Leyte, Philippines and Okinawa, Japan
and to all Deadeyes who fought with valor and
distinction to defeat imperial Japan

Erected 2010 by 96th Infantry Division Deadeye Association.
 
Location. 32° 23.121′ N, 84° 57.226′ W. Marker is in Fort Benning, Georgia, in Muscogee County. Marker can be reached from Fort Benning Road 1.6 miles south of Matheson Road. Touch for map. Located on the Walk of Honor, just to the south of the National Infantry Museum parade ground.
