1. Gasper River Meeting House Marker
Inscription. One of three churches of Rev. James McGready, a Presbyterian minister, in Logan County-Gasper River, Muddy River, and Red River-around which the great frontier revival of 1797 to 1805 began.
 
Erected 1962 by Kentucky Department of Highways. (Marker Number 170.)
 
Marker series. This marker is included in the Kentucky Historical Society marker series.
 
Location. 36° 53.127′ N, 86° 39.674′ W. Marker is near South Union, Kentucky, in Logan County. Marker is on Bowling Green Road (U.S. 68) near Cave Springs Road (State Route 73), on the right when traveling west. Touch for map.
