Inscription.  Edward Rexford settled here from England c. 1763. Early home enlarged by Cyrus Rexford in 1883.
 
Erected by Clifton Park US Const Bicent.

visible. Cyrus Rexford operated a store and post office next to the aqueduct for travelers on the canal and the local community.



The current "Stick Style" Victorian mansion was a result of Cyrus Rexford enlarging the former farmhouse.
