Inscription.  One half-mile square, with four corners for a centre; settled by early Scots 1774 incorporated April 18, 1838
 
Location. 43° 1.118′ N, 74° 1.889′ W. Marker is in Galway, New York, in Saratoga County. Marker is at the intersection of New York State Route 147 and County Route 45, on the right when traveling north on State Route 147. On the town square. Touch for map.
