Tuvieron tres centros misioneros: los Castillos, Irapuato y Silao. Su vocación misionera los impulsó a recorrer pueblos y parroquias circunvecinas para dar misiones y ejercicios. Su vocación de educadores los llevó a abrir colegios para niños pobres y escuelas apostólicas para formar misioneros.
Los Misioneros Josefinos, con ocasión de su Ier Capítulo provincial, tributan un homenaje de gratitud a la Diócesis de León donde floreció el carisma josefino para bien de la Iglesia.

Their missionary vocation impelled them to travel to villages and surrounding parishes on missions and to perform spiritual exercises.
