1. Reverend Billy Graham Marker
Inscription. Billy Graham attended Florida Bible Institute, now Florida Coolege, from 1937 to graduation in 1940. A world-recognized evangelist, Dr. Graham is one of the 20th century's best-known Christian leaders and the spiritual advisor to ten United States Presidents. Dr. Graham acknowledges he was called to serve the Lord while living in this City and often refers to Temple Terrace, Florida, as "the moonlight, the moss, the breeze, the green, the gold course...in my spirit I knew I had been called to the ministry." Dr. Graham's faith-filled commitment to strengthening the world's spirituality was inspired near this site and amid these serene surroundings.
