Regarding Temple of Saint Sebastian. In 1873 Father Irineo Muñoz built the chapel that forms the main body of the temple. At the beginning of the 20th century it was extended and reformed in its facade and interior, whose cornices, columns and pilasters were adapted to at least two styles of Greek architecture: the Ionic and Doric styles that can be seen in its presbytery and naves. A massive tower was added to the façade of a simple and high bell tower, the top of which was built in 1941, and a decade later it was surrounded by an atrium. It reached the status of parish in 1889. Although the patron saint of the church is the Virgin of the Assumption, for many it is known as the church of "Our Lady of San Sebastian".
