Inscription. On June 27,1785 the town of Gardner was incorporated from land belonging to thew surrounding towns of Templeton, Winchendon, Ashburnham, and Westminster.The convergence point for the latter three towns stood southerly of this marker near the intersection off Lynde and School streets. Dedicated by the 225th committee June 26,2010 Donated by the Gardner Redevelopment Authority
