Inscription.  Est. as early as 1826. Replaced 1867. Additions 1892, 1911. Fondly known as “Brookview Academy". Current bldg. erected 1929.
 
Erected by Village of Voorheesville, New Scotland Historical Association.
 
Location. 42° 38.931′ N, 73° 56.143′ W. Marker is in Voorheesville, New York, in Albany County. Marker is on Maple Avenue (New York State Route 85A), on the right when traveling west. Touch for map.
