1866 - Grove City became an incorporated village
1886 - Franklin County Engineer issued a
new plat map of Grove City
1959 - Grove City officially became a city
at noon on November 16, 1959

Dedicated September 15, 2001
4 days following the New York City Twin Towers,
Pentagon and Flight 93 Tragedies

The flag was added in memory of all those who
perished on September 11, 2001

Commissioned November 7, 2000 by the
City of Grove City
