2. American Legion Marker
can be seen from the cemetery entrance. It is just off to the left and up a small rise along the main cemetery road. The markers are surrounded by a circle of veteran's gravesites.
 
Regarding Bonner Springs Veterans' Memorial. The G.A.R. or Grand Army of the Republic was a group of Union Civil War Veterans active in the promotion of veterans' affairs for many years after the Civil War. The Cemetery Board has no information as to when this marker was placed.
