1. Church of the Saviour Marker
Inscription. This church, designed in gothic revival style by Minard Lafever, was dedicated in 1844. It is the home of the oldest Unitarian society in Brooklyn, organized in 1833. During the 1890's, new windows, the work of Louis C. Tiffany, were installed.
 
Erected 1962 by New York Community Trust.

Marker is in the lower right of the picture.
In 1848, when the Universalist church was destroyed in a fire, the Church of the Saviour invited that congregation to worship at that site.
