Inscription. In honor of the men and women of the Rowlesburg area who have served in the Armed Forces of the United States and in memory of those who gave their lives for their country.
 
Erected 2002 by Veterans of Foreign Wars, Cannon Hill Post 3008.
 
Location. 39° 20.781′ N, 79° 40.192′ W. Marker is in Rowlesburg, West Virginia, in Preston County. Marker is at the intersection of Buffalo Street (State Highway 72) and Poplar Street, on the right when traveling north on Buffalo Street. Touch for map.
