Location. 40° 28.466′ N, 83° 50.427′ W. Marker is near Russells Point, Ohio, in Logan County. Marker is on County Route 38 0.3 miles north of Ohio Route 366. Touch for map. This particular historical marker is situated above the north entrance to the covered bridge which is built across the South Fork Great Miami River, just east of Russells Point, OH. Marker is in this post office area: Russells Point OH 43348, United States of America.

2. Bickham Bridge - 1877 Marker
View of the north entrance to the Bickham Covered Bridge, and the road sign displaying the legal weight limits for various vehicles that used the bridge.
It just so happened that I had arrived to take pictures of the Bickham Covered Bridge the day after a truck had accidentally taken out the covering over the south end entrance to the covered bridge with a overly too tall load. I have included several photos of the damage to the bridge that was still visible on the day that I arrived to take my pictures.
