1. First Court of Scott County Marker
Inscription. The monument in the field to the west marks the site of Benjamin T. Hollins's home, in which was held the first court of this county, February 14, 1815.
 
Erected 1930 by Conservation & Development Commission. (Marker Number KA-15.)
 
Location. 36° 38.088′ N, 82° 33.303′ W. Marker is in Gate City, Virginia, in Scott County. Marker is on Main Street (U.S. 23/58), on the right when traveling west. Touch for map.
