To commemorate the rededication of
Naval Training Center Great Lakes
in honor of all who served here
from 1911 to 1986

 
Erected 1986 by Naval Station Great Lakes.
 
Location. 42° 18.691′ N, 87° 50.221′ W. Marker is in Great Lakes, Illinois, in Lake County. Marker is on Decatur Avenue, on the left when traveling east. Touch for map. Marker is at the base of the Sousa Bandstand steps, on Ross Field, in the Historic District of Naval Station Great Lakes.
