Regarding Cobblestone School. Originally constructed in 1837 through the private funding by the Literary Society of the Alexandrian Library, this three story cobblestone structure served as a school for 101 years until 1938. Today the building houses the Alexander Town Hall and the town courts. It is now the only three story town hall building in the country.
