1. The Plain Good Building of Cross Plains Marker
Inscription. Construction on this site began in 1854. Time had reduced this building nearly to ruin during 143 years of service to this community. With great skill and uncompromising attention to detail, it was completely restored during the winter of 1997-1998 by Maurice Mitchell Bertram, master craftsman.
