1. George Washington School Marker
Inscription. The George Washington School was built in 1893 at a cost of $1,800. It is believed to have once housed the largest collection of library books of any Manitowoc County rural school. The Village of St. Nazianz purchased the school in 1983 and converted it into its village hall.

2. John Miller Memorial
George Washington School
The preservation of this building is in recognition of community service. It is a memorial to John Miller, 1884-1956. He served this school district from 1914 to 1932. He dedicated many volunteer hours to public affairs in this community. · The American Dream is preserved through its volunteers.
